Verder werkend aan mijn plannen om van
deze vierkanten een deken te maken, ging mijn fantasie weer met me
aan de haal, zodat deze twee grannies toch weer wat anders werden dan
ik oorspronkelijk van plan was. Hoewel de basis [toer 1 t/m 7] van
bijna alle modellen [ronde en vierkanten] hetzelfde is, is het
startpunt van toer 8 de basis voor de stand van de bloem. Had de
bloem in de eerste twee vierkanten een rechte bovenkant van twee
bloemblaadjes, nu staat er als het ware ééntje als een punt naar
boven. Verder heb ik door de kleuren donkerblauw en wit te
verwisselen het effect van kleuren een beetje uitgeprobeerd.
Haaktechnisch echter zijn deze twee vierkanten identiek.
Patroon:
toer 1. [wit] 16 stokjes in een
magische ring [of 8x 1 stokje, 1 losse]
toer 2. [d.blauw] 8x v-stokje tussen de
stokjes [2 stokjes ertussen].
toer 3. [turquoois] 8x [2 stokjes, 1
losse, 2 stokjes] om de 1-losseboog
toer 4. [turquoois] 8x [7 stokjes om de
2-lossenboog]
toer 5. [d.blauw] 7x halve stokje op
stokjes van de de bloemblaadjes, na het 7e stokje [tussen de
bloemblaadjes] een dieper ingestoken stokje. [zie foto].
toer 6. [wit] Begin in het dieper
ingestoken stokje van de vorige toer, met 1 v-stokje,
2 stokjes overslaan, 1 v-half stokje,
2 stokjes overslaan, 1x v-vaste,
2 stokjes overslaan, 1 v-halfstokje
2 stokjes overslaan, dan weer 1
v-stokje in het dieper ingestoken stokje. Haak de toer zo rond.
toer 7. [wit] In alle v-steken van de
vorige toer een v-stokje
toer 8. [turquoois] Begin de hoek in
een v-stokje boven een v-vaste uit toer 6, [3 dubbele stokjes, 1
losse, 3 dubbele stokjes]
tussen de hoeken:
1 v-stokje in de volgende v-steek,
1 v-halfstokje in de volgende v-steek,
3 v-vasten in de volgende 3 v-steken,
1 v-halfstokje in de volgende v-steek,
1 v-stokje in het volgende v-steek, en
dan komt de volgende hoek.
toer 9. [turquoois] Hoek: [3 dubbele
stokjes, 2 lossen, 3 dubbele stokjes],
verder van hoek tot hoek: 2 dubbele
stokjes overslaan, 1 v-stokje,
2x v-stokjes in de volgende 2 v-steken,
3x v-halve stokjes in de volgende 3
v-steken,
2x v-stokjes in de volgende 2 v-steken,
2 stokjes voor de hoek het laatste
v-stokje en weer de hoek.

Still working on ideas for a new
blanket I made a new version of my African Circle Square. Up till
round 6 is the base of all models [round and square] and the
startingpoint in round 7 creates the position of the flower.
Furthermore I changed the colours d.blue and white in both squares to
see the effect of it. "Crochettechnically" both square are
identical.
Round 1. [white] 16 dc in a magical
ring
round 2. [d.blue] 8x v-dc [2 dc between
each v-dc] .
round 3. [turquoise] 8x [2 dc, 1 sc, 2
dc] into the ch1 of the prev.round
round 4. [turquoise] 8x [7 dc into the
ch-2 of the prev.round]
round 5. [d.blue] 7x hdc on the petals,
1 deeper inserted dc [after the 7th hdc and between the petals] [see
photo ].
round 6. [white] Start in the deeper
inserted dc. 1 v-dc
Skip 2 dc, 1 v-hdc,
Skip 2 dc, 1 v-sc,
Skip 2 dc, 1 v-hdc
Skip 2 dc, 1 v-dc again in de space
